Biography

William Vannoy was born in 1770 in Rowan, North Carolina or around 1771 in Wilkes, North Carolina.[citation needed] His parents were Francis Vannoy and Milicent Henderson.[citation needed]

He married Mary Sallee' around 1788 in Wilkes, North Carolina, United States.[citation needed]

William served in the War of 1812.[1] He died in December 1845 in Barbourville, Knox, Kentucky, United States. Only the year is on his headstone, there are several dates online (April, Oct., Dec.)[2]
