Mrs. Mary Ann Thomas, one of the oldest residents of Hartford, died at her home here yesterday at 12:30 o'clock. She was 78 years old, and her husband, David E. Thomas, died here many years ago. Mrs. Thomas had her shoulder broken by a fall which she received three months ago, and she never recovered from the shook. She leaves several children, among them Messrs. E. P., D. E. and J. O. Thomas, of the firm of Thomas Brothers, of this place. Her funeral will occur at 8 o'clock this afternoon, conducted by Rev. G. J. Bean.[3]
