Biography

NOTE: James Watt has been speculatively associated as the father of Alonzo Culp. This speculation is based on a 3rd Cousin, once removed DNA match between Bonnie Schrack and Martha Culp as well as other's found on Ancestry and FTDNA. However, the amount of matching DNA in many of these cases seemingly suggest that the relationship is off by a generation. Joseph may be a better DNA match through his father Charles. He is speculatively associated as the father of Alonzo as a better candidate until this mystery can be resolved.

See Alonzo Culp and Nancy Culp for more information.

James Watt was born at Toronto, Jefferson, Ohio, about 1822, son of Charles Watt and Jane Paisley and died at Toronto, Jefferson, Ohio, Sep 1850.
