Millicent ("Millie") Weddle was born on January 21, 1811, in Hawkins County, Tennessee. She was the daughter of Elias Weddle and Nancy Wallen.[1]
Her father was killed during the Creek War in 1814.[2] After her father's death, her mother remarried and she migrated with her mother and stepfather (along with many related Weddle families) to Indiana. They had settled in Jackson County, Indiana, by 1820.[3]
Millie Weddle married Pleasant Hamblen in Jackson County, Indiana, on November 22, 1831.[4]
She is buried in Taggart Cemetery, in Brown County, Indiana.
