Loa was born in 1868. She was the daughter of Corydon Whitten and Elizabeth Stacey.
In the 1880 census Loa (age 11), At School, was the daughter of C. C. Whitten in Toledo, Tama, Iowa, United States.[1]
Loa (age 29), daughter of Con... Whitten & Eliz Stacy, married Harry H. Humphrey on 1 September 1897 in Cedar Rapids, Linn, Iowa.[2] Their wedding gifts including a check from her parents for $2.500 made the newspapers.[3]
In the 1900 census Loa (age 30) was the wife of Harry Humphrey in Marshall, Marshall, Iowa.[4]
