Biography

Abigail was born in 1797 in Bay du Vin, New Brunswick, the daughter of John Williston and Phoebe Stymiest. She was the fifth of twelve children in the family.

Abigail married Daniel Bulman about 1824. They Settled at Black Brook (Loggieville) where they farmed 200 acres of land and raised five children.

In 1855 they sold their land and moved to Bruce County, Ontario (Canada West) where they lived with their son Joseph and his family on their farm.

Abigail passed away sometime before 1881.

Notes for Abigail WILLISTON
A marriage was not located for Daniel and Abigail, undoubtedly it is lurking out there somewhere, perhaps performed by one of the circuit ministers who transported it back to his home church for recording. However, they were without a doubt, married and raised their family at Loggieville then known as Black Brook, until moving to Ontario after their son Joseph made his move there in the mid 1850's
