Biography

Nancy was born on 6 January 1840 in Parke County, Indiana, the eighth of nine known children and the youngest of four daughters of Jacob and Elizabeth Mills Wimmer.

On 4 March 1859, when she was nineteen, she married James Crooks in Parke County, Indiana, and bore him three known children, all sons:

1. Albert W Crooks
2. Marion Crooks
3. William Arthur Crooks

Nancy died of unknown causes at the age of 73, on 4 Mar 1913 in Mansfield, Parke County, Indiana.^[1]
