Anthony Edward Winston was born on March 3, 1919 in Russellville, Franklin, Alabama, United States. His parents were Lindsey William Winston (1869 - 1952) and Maggie Bell (Butler) Winston (1893 - 1987).

Anthony died on March 3, 1987 in Waukegan, Lake, Illinois aged 68.

Obituary

Funeral services for Anthony Edward Winston, 68, of North Chicago, Ill., formerly of Russellville, were held Monday, March 9, at St. Paul CME Church, Russellville, with the Rev. L.H. Pitts officiating. Burial was in Luketown Cemetery, Russellville. [1]

Mr. Winston died Wednesday, March 4, at Victory Memorial Hospital, Waukegan, Ill. He was a native of Russellville and had lived in North Chicago, Ill., for the past 45 years. He was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church, Waukegan, a member of the Usher Board, Ensley Rising Star Lodge #47.
