John Wright's birth year is estimated as 1598 based upon his age (26 years) at marriage.^[1] He married Mary Dell at Waltham Abbey, Essex County, England on April 22, 1624.^{[2] [3]} The records indicate they may have been the parents of eight children:^[3]

John Wright was "probably" the yeoman buried at Waltham Abbey on July 5, 1653.^[4][3]

Research Notes

I've disconnected his former parents John Wright and Bennet Green. First, there's no evidence in the profile these were his parents.

Nathan Wright (d. 1658) was a younger son of Rev. Robert Wright and he purchased Cranham Hall in 1647. His son Benjamin acquired Waltham in 1683, so I have also removed the death place, although it is sort of cited by the Parish Register I assume there's no information in there that indicates his parents.
