Biography

Billings O. "Plympton" Wright was born about 1824 probably in Geauga County, Ohio the son of Ephraim Wright and Lydia LeMunyon.^[1]

Research Notes

The family was among the early settlers in Shiawassee Township, Shiawassee County, Michigan.

Plympton married Emily Haggerty in 1849 in Shiawasse County, Michigan.

Sometime before the 1860 United States Census he married Charlotte Amanda Wells.

Missing citation for 1870 Agricultural census.

He appears to have died before 1875 as he is not found on the 1880 US Census. The last record he has been found on is the 1873 birth record of his son Nelson. Charlotte married James Taylor 27 October 1875.
