Thomas Wright was born in Lancashire, England.

Thomas was born about 1874, and his birth was registered in the Apr-May-Jun quarter of 1874 in the Chorlton district.[1]
Thomas, child of Thomas Wright & Fanny Barlow, was baptised on 25 October 1874 in Hulme, St Philip, Manchester. The family were living at 9 Rogerson Court, Chatham Street, and his father was a Paper Hanger. [2]

In the 1891 census Thomas 17, Bale Marker, was living with his mother Fanny Wright and siblings in Chorlton-on-Medlock, Manchester.[3]

Thomas (age 24), son of Thomas Wright, married Nellie Massey (age 22) on 24 December 1898 at Holy Trinity, Hulme, Manchester,[4] [5] and in 1901 they were living in Moulton Street, Hulme. Thomas 26 was a Shipping Warehouse Maker Up.[6] They had two daughters Alice in 1903 and Hilda in 1907.

In the 1911 census Thomas 36, Warehouse Maker Up, was the married visitor of brother Fredrick Wright and family, in Cholrton on Medlock. Wife Nellie was with their two daughters in Davyhulme, Manchester.[7]
