Unless you are on the trust list for Charles Lee Marshall, you will not be able to attach. Charles has a Green Padlock, it is "closed". You'll need to ask the profile manager Lynden Rodriguez to be on the trusted list for Charles.

You'll need to present the proofs that the relationship existed, which would be a document that says one is the father of the other

"United States, Social Security Numerical Identification Files (NUMIDENT), 1936-2007", database, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:6KQJ-4V5X : 10 February 2023), Charles Lee Marshall, . establishs the relationship between Charles and his parents

Charles Lee Marshall is found at https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LCC6-KBH. He married Albina Stanek and they had twelve children. Three of those were females. There's 9 males there. Whichever one it is, you can open his profile there from Charles profile and examine what records (city, county, state, federal, etc) are attached.

The profile manager at WT for Charles is stil active, as of 9th Sept 2023. If Lynden does not repond in a reasonable amount of time, when you have provided the proofs of the marriage, etc, then you can try the unresponsive profile manager or maybe ask for mentor intervention

Adding or creating a profile, establishing a tie of relationship by blood or by marriage, is part of what is meant by editing at WT.

Hello Pam, I am very new here and still learning how to navigate. I've received a few private messages and am wondering if they are accessible to veiw and respond on the Wikitree page. Or can I only respond or correspond with these contacts by replying to their email messages. Thank you, Kristi
