Jacoba Douglas was born at of Dalkeith, Scotland. A contract for the marriage of Jacoba Douglas and Sir John Hamilton, 4th Lord Cadzow was signed on 1 November 1388. Jacoba Douglas died after 1410.
Jacoba and Sir William Douglas, 1st Baron Drumlanrig, Dumfries obtained a marriage license on 12 June 1410;[3] Dispensation.
