Biography
Hatch Whitfield Jr [1] was born about 1828 in North Carolina.[2] He was the son of Hatch and Hepzibah Whitfield.[2][3]
In the 1850 U.S. Census, Hatch Whitfield was recorded as 22-years old, living and farming in Monroe County, Mississippi with his parents and other family members.[2]
Hatch Whitfield Jr died in 1852 in Monroe County, Mississippi. His estate was probated in 1852.[1]
According to his Find A Grave Memorial, he was purportedly born about 1827, died 12 February 1852 and was buried at Whitfield Burnett Cemetery, Aberdeen, Monroe County, Mississippi.[4]

It appears this might be a legitimate memorial and burial location for Hatch. There are so many Find A Grave memorials which don't provide a tombstone photo or source(s), which make them suspect. Just because someone created a memorial doesn't mean it's based on fact.
