Moses BOWEN and Rebecca Reese, his wife emigrated in 1698 with a large group of Quaker settlers from Wales. He had purchased 10,000 acres of land in Guinnedd Township, Chester, PA. In 1732, they moved to Rockbridge County, VA.When they first arrived in Pa., they settled in Chester CO., PA. [2]
