I see you added the DNA tag to your profile. Here are a few links & tips to help you along in the journey of WikiTree and DNA.

It's not hard to add DNA test information to profiles on WikiTree, just make sure you add the tests to the actual test participant's profile & set the Privacy to ‘Private w/ Public Biography & Family Tree’ to show the tester's part of our tree. For help see  How to DNA on WikiTree

Here's a great YouTube video with all sorts of questions answered Getting Started with DNA.

Hey Jane,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards .

If you need to describe an event, heirloom or a location relevant to your research, try Free Space Profiles .

If you run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving these unfortunate situations.

A project of note is the Global Family Reunion check it out at Global Family Reunion.

Questions? Ask via my profile page. Mags

Hi Jane, I see that you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know that we have a project for DNA where a lot of things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like more details.

Hi  again Jane. Thank you for volunteering to help grow our World Wide Family Tree.

You are now a member of the WikiTree Community.   Please note we are trying to build one Collaborative Tree which means one profile per person.  It is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add any Profiles to WikiTree.  Everything on WikiTree is a collaborative work in progress so don’t forget to read and sign our Honor Code.  This is what keeps WikiTree a friendly and helpful community.   We have many friendly members, feel  free to ask if you have any questions.

Hello to the community. I am actively working on my family tree although I have more eagerness than time at the moment. I welcome this opportunity to share information with others and will start uploading things shortly. I don't always get things right but I do my best not to spread misinformation. I welcome advice from others if I get something wrong. It will take me a while to familiarise myself fully with this site but I will join in as much as, and as well as, I can.
