If William's brother James estate was probated in Campbell County, this record appears to indicate William' estate was being probated in Albemarle Co. (right hand page, an order to settle the acct. of James' guardianship of James & Micajah, orphans of William. Albemarle Co. Order Book 1801-1803. p. 428. These two orphans chose Jacob Clarke as their guardian on the prior page but appear to have been mistakenly recorded as orphans of Jacob rather than Wm. Clarke. https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CS4H-WQKC-G?i=250&cat=275687
