Biography

I was born in Glasgow, Scotland and received most of my schooling there. My parents decided to bring the family to Canada and they did so in 1952 and in 1953. I recall being on the S.S.Atlantic when they were having Coronation Celebrations and parties. I met my husband when he was serving in the R.C.A.F. and we were married in Toronto in 1960. We had two sons. Bob went to work for I.B.M and after many years of hard and stressful work became a Vice President of operations of a service corporation, which he started for I.B.M. Unfortunately he died of a heart attack while away on business in 1993. After nearly fourteen years of being alone, I met my second husband and we are quite happy to be together. We do family history together and enjoy our family.

Hi I do not require additional help from anyone else, because I have an extensive family tree already built, which I prefer to keep private on another program. However, I am always willing to help anyone who is related to me.

Hi! I see you have uploaded your DNA for comparison. Did you know we have a project for DNA where a lot of great new things are happening? If you are interested and would like to check it out, go to the FIND link top right of your profile page, select PROJECTS from the drop down box, and then select the link for the DNA project. It has information listed that might be of interest to you, and feel free to contact any of the members if you would like additional details.
