Hi Again Jerry

Location, location, location when checking your created profiles all I checked have no locations given, the one I opened (https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tuttle-4295) has a hint of a possible arrival for the family to the United States.

There is no or little sourcing, please ensure you revisited created profiles and add location data and life event sources, as it is very difficult to source profiles without a location, you just get too many possibilities.

The book link on Silence's profile works however without purchasing the book it does not let you view to reference to information in profile. I placed the book into an acknowledgement section

Please revisited the location / source help pages in the How to pages

Have fun reviewing and building the profiles

Janet

Thanks Jerry for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz

As Pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working within a project coordinating them is essential. Please ensure location data matches dates of profile, avoid abbreviations, add sources with citations & links for sources to support the data. From wiki ID go to Research to find sources

The United States  Project would be of interest. Adding the tag UNITED_STATES will connect you

Explore Pre-1700 Projects list to find one that fits your research focus, whether time period, location, or topic   Questions ask Here

Hello Jerry!

You've been a member for a few weeks so I thought I would check in to see how it's going. Have the How-Tos been helpful or left you with questions? Most of us have questions after all that information!

I want to help! Click my name, send me a private message or ask in the comment section of my page. Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.

Cindy ~ WikiTree Messenger

PS To find reliable sources for your profiles, go to the Family Tree & Tools tab; select Genealogy Research and scroll down near the bottom of that list and select Research with RootsSearch. There are over 20 websites to access from there.

Jerry,

Thank you for volunteering. You are now a full member of the WikiTree family and can add your family to the big tree where many people collaborate.

Click here to start with our New Member How-To Pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles.

Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!

Mary ~ WikiTree Greeter

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section on your profile page.
