Congratulations, you've been a WikiTree member for a month! We're glad you're here. A few tips to help you dive in even deeper:

Check out Beyond the Basics of WikiTree for a guide on some of our more advanced features such as Projects, Categories, and Merging.

We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.

And we're always looking for volunteers to assist in different ways.

Don't forget to Head over to the G2G forum. and take a minute to introduce yourself in the Tree House or ask a question in any of the other categories. There's also a brickwall tag in the G2G forum: for that "special" ancestor who is eluding you.

Hi Jason...your message ran off the page, but it looks like you want to join. I think you'll enjoy the experience. A Mentor should be contacting you within 24 hours, so if you have any questions, you'll find all our Mentors to be very knowledgeable and friendly.

Jason...I think this would be a great place for you. You can add as many profiles as you like in any time frame you like. Your family could of course add information to the profiles. Have you had time to look at our Help Index (upper right)? Ther is all kinds of useful information. There is also a video about getting started.

Thank you so much Fred. I would like to continue as a guest. I am the eldest son and have a family tree my grandfather & grandmother put together. Literally hundreds of people to add. I was looking for a site where I could add some of the names and then invite my family to join and then hopefully they would add names also. You see, I don't want to add them all myself. I am excited to how far we can go back. Would this be the right place for me?

If you would like to use WikiTree for research, you are welcome to do so as a guest for as long as you like. You don't need to volunteer. You can ask questions in our G2G forum, or use the Search function (upper right).

If you are looking forward to adding your own research, please post a comment to that effect.
