Philemon Harrington is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A051457.
Philamon, son of Charles & Agnes (Hill) Harrington, who is said to have been born about 1757 and married Frances "Fanny" Harmon (about 1780 in Chatham County, North Carolina),[1] died 1803 leaving a will (8 MAY 1803, Chatham County, North Carolina).[2]
"Philamon Harrington was married to Frances "Fanny" Harmon. He was the son of Charles and Agnes Hill Harrington. Philamon served in the American Revolution from the State of North Carolina. Philamon was enumerated in the 1790 Census of Chatham Co, NC. He died between May 8, 1803, when his will was dated and August 1803, when it was probated. After his death in 1803, his widow Fanny moved to Hickman County, Tennessee. She was enumerated in the 1810 and 1820 Census."[3][1]
