Elizabeth Susan Hayman Biography
Elizabeth Susan Hayman was born on 27 Jul 1966 in Savannah, Chatham, Georgia, United States, daughter of Wilbur Zachary Hayman lll (1938 - living) and Mary Sue (Smith) Dunn (~1932 - 2021).
Her siblings were:
I was born in Savannah, GA on 27 July 1966. My mother was Mary Sue Hayman (Smith-234663)(nee Smith) and my father is Wilbur Zachary Hayman lll (Hayman-887). I have two brothers, Wilbur Zachary Hayman lV (Hayman-888), and Christopher Stephens Hayman (Hayman-889). After briefly living in Savannah, GA my mother, my older brother and I went back to Honolulu, Hawaii, where my father was stationed at the time (Coast Guard). After he finished his tour of duty, my father moved us to Pascagoula, MS. We lived there for (maybe) two years, and then we moved to Mobile, ALA, where my younger brother, Chris (Hayman-889) was born. My father, by then, was working as a drafting engineer for a nearby shipyard. My dad received a better offer at a larger shipyard in St. Louis, MO, so in 1974 we moved there, in the county of Ballwin, St. Louis, MO. In 1980, my father was offered manager position at another shipyard, so we moved to Leavenworth, KS. Around 1985 my parents separated/divorced and I opted to go with my father to Omaha, NB, where I went to Central High School for about 1/2 the term. My father was offered another position at a shipyard in San Francisco, CA, where we lived in the living quarters provided by the shipyard at Hunter's Point. I finished my 2nd year of high school at the local high school (forgot the name, sorry). I went to a "prep school" titled Southwestern Academy for my last year of high school, located in San Marino, CA, where I graduated on 06 June, 1985. I've had various jobs, lived briefly in Denver, CO (just not me), but on early spring of 1998 I was offered employment in Tacoma, WA as a housekeeper/assistant innkeeper for a fairly new Bed & Breakfast titled "Chinaberry Hill B&B" (owned/managed by Cecil and Yarrow Wayman), which I took, and ended worked there for 13 years (and never regretted it, love the upper West Coast!). During the time working at the B&B, I also went to a local city college called Tacoma Community College where I received my Associates degree in Arts and Science on December of 2009. I have had epilepsy since I was 13, which never subsided, and in fact, became worse. Finally, in 2018, the SSA awarded me Disability Benefits, as I could no longer work. This has not stopped my love for life, as well as my love/passion for photography, I am happy to say. Also I was awarded a low-rent apartment via http://www.tacomahousing.org/.

Noticed some of the profiles you created. Looks like you're well on your way to some pretty nice writeups. Dropping you a line because I noticed your sources seem to be hand-crafted (and that's perfectly okay!) and I wanted to offer you a big time saver.
The WikiTree Sourcer browser extension can make source citations on most popular genealogy sites for you in a single click. Then you can just paste them right in, all pre-formated and pretty. I demo'd this on Stephens-19084 for you. For FamilySearch, it can even build every source attached to an entire person in a single click.
Most users get up and running in about 15 minutes. Mindy Silva made a great video tutorial on how to use it and there's also a WikiTree Sourcer User Guide|User Guide as well.
Hope this helps!
Jeff
The trusted list is primarily for use when a profile privacy level has a *colored* padlock, which is any color except white (open).
All three persons named, child, father, mother, have the privacy level of Open, the white padlock.
No one would *need* to request being put on that particular profile trusted list, since it is *Open*
So long as you are the profile manager of a profile, you are automatically on the trusted list.
As for adding parents to a child or adding a child to a parent, it depends on which direction you are going, parent >+ child or child >+ parent.
Usually the parents are profiled first, and then children are added. child >+ parent
However, in many cases the *child* has been profiled and not the parents. In this case the profile manager would search to see if the parent(s) were already on WikiTree, and if it appears they are *not*, then the manager will enter the child's profile on Edit.
There will be a vacant Father field and a vacant Mother field. Click on either parent's field and then profile that parent. Having done that, you return to the child's profile and click on the OTHER parent's field and profile THAT parent.
You have at this point successfully added the father and the mother to the child
If you want to know what the rationale is for this, you would need to talk to Ales at tech since it was he and his squad of techies who wrote the program. The tag you would use on your post in G2G would be "tech" which will signal Ales
Possible someone who frequents G2G would be able to explain the rationale. I don't think the rationale is important. What IS important is to keep in mind which direction you are going: adding a child to a parent or adding a parent to a child

I wanted you to know that the links you have posted for your Ancestry tree(s) do not go to Ancestry. Instead they go to a page for business partnerships?
They go to a page called partnerize and I have no idea why. https://www.partnerize.com/?clickref=1101lwIcLsM5&adref=&clickref=1101lwIcLsM5&o_xid=01011l4xx5&o_lid=01011l4xx5&o_sch=Affiliate+External

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s VERY important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

We're distant cousins on the Hayman line. Our 4th g-grandfathers were brothers. Your Henry (1730-1793) and my Nicholas Hayman 1715 - 1795 who m Charity Johnson, were sons of William Hayman and Mary Toadvine. Nicholas' son Johnson Hayman was b 1756 in Wicomico, Maryland, m 2nd Ester Dikes/Dykes in 1803. Their son Harvey Hayman was b Nov 1805 in Worchester MD and was brought south with them. He m Nancy Perkins in Sumpter Co AL. Their son William Perkins Hayman is my gg-grandfather. He m Angeline Chamberlain in Jan 1869 in Leon Co TX. Harvey died shortly before my grandmother Mollie Hayman was born in July 1870. My grandmother was orphaned in 1872, at age two, and didn't know her parent's names. It took me 25 years to track them down, pre-internet, and 75 years after her death. Now I know them *well*. LOL I uploaded my DNA data to GedMatch.com, so if you have a GedMatch kit# we can compare DNA results.
All the best! Deb [Cavel-3]
I still have to find that part of the family...but with all those clues, you'd think it wouldn't take long, right? Ha! There's so much to look at here and dig through (but am having fun in the process!!)...nice to meet a relative amongst the living :)...I have yet to do a DNA test, I swear I had one, but it disappeared on me (but I recently moved, so there's that). Will let you know when I find it!
