Fransis, child of John Johnson, died (age 76) on 25 Feb 1748-1749 in Andover, Massachusetts, United States.^[3]

Frances Hoyt was the daughter of John and Mary (Barnes) Hoyt. Her birth is not known, but from the legacies she left in her will, it has been shown that she was their child. ^[5]

Frances Hoyt married first, Nathaniel Peabody. Nathaniel was born on July 29, 1669 at Topsfield, Massachusetts, son of Francis and Mary (Foster) (Wood) Peabody. ^{[6] [7]}

Nathaniel died in Portsmouth, New Hampshire in 1715, leaving no children. ^[7]

Widow Frances Peabody of Topsfield, Massachusetts married Samuel Shackford at Portsmouth, New Hampshire on May 10, 1716. ^{[8] [7] [9]}

After Samuel died, Frances married third, James Pearson as his third wife. James was born at Lynn, Massachusetts on November 28, 1680, son of John and Tabitha (Kendall) Pearson. ^[10] They had no children.^[5]

Captain James Pearson died at Haverhill, Massachusetts on December 2, 1744. ^{[5] [9]} Her husband died intestate, and the final inventory and settlement of his estate occurred after Frances' death. ^[11]

Widow Frances died there between the writing of her will on December 13, 1745 and April 17, 1749, when it was recorded. ^[5]

In her will she names, among others:

• Dorothy Hoyt, daughter of my brother Joseph Hoyt
• my cousin John Whittier (likely husband of her sister Mary) ^{[12] [5]}
