Biography

John Wesley Kendrick was born on August 23, 1851 in Jena, LaSalle Parish or Catahoula Parish, Louisiana to Isham Kendrick and Matilda Bradford Kendrick. [1] He was the seventh of ten children.

He married Rosena Kitterlin on April 3, 1873 in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana.[2] They had six children. Only three survived to adulthood.

He was a farmer.[3][4]

He died on November 25, 1915 at the age of 64 years old, in Jena, Louisiana[5] He died on the day his grandson John Kendrick Bumgardner was born. He buried in Nolley Memorial Methodist Cemetery in Jena, Louisiana.

John was born in 1851. He passed away in 1915.
