Opperman-136 and Opperman-125 appear to represent the same person because: Same person. De Villiers, Christoffel Coetzee "Oude Kaapsche Familien" https://archive.org/details/OudeKaapscheFamilienPart2 - A-O. Page No. 515
I agree that there were two sisters with the same name - Maria Petronella - but the first was gedoopt in 1757 and the second in 1758; so it is likely that the first died as an infant. According to Oude Kaapsche Familien, the second Maria Petronella first married Pieter de Wet and was later married to Rudolph Philip Botha. As both Opperman-125 and Opperman-135 were married to a Petrus/Pieter de Wet I still contend that they are the same person. Regards, Mary

Opperman-136 and Opperman-125 appear to represent the same person because: According to the Derick Opperman familie boek, Maria Petronella Opperman married Rudolph Philippus Botha in 1787, after the death of Pieter de Wet
