My family is in this Padgett merge. But I'm not sure if I've taken it all the way back to Edmund that came to the United States yet.

I am following his family up through the VA time period and my relative buys land in TN and then my mother was the first to leave TN after that move. How will your branch merge affect my branch of Padgett? kind of exciting to see it fill out. [email address removed]

Hi julie - I'm not sure where there may be a copy near you. I'm almost certain that Virginia (UVA or State Archives) may have a copy. It was a limited release, subscription publication. I have a copy but it was never made available electronically. It mainly says that Mary Bostick was the daughter of Charles Bostick. Preston spent his life researching and gathering primary/secondary sources before Ancestry.com or similar. The book is not perfect but it does focus on the paternal Leake line.
