I am pretty sure this merge was in error. Birthdates were way too far apart, and the merge took place way too fast back in 2016.

Ancestry trees have a "Thomas Fitz Randolph" (1775-1801) as a son, but there exists no evidence of his existence. He is not listed in the will, the unborn child is already identified
"He" exists under his name and his DNA. The Ancestry trees are wrong.
I refer ALL Fitz Randolph questions to Thomas Randolph on here; a long-time researcher of Fitz Randolph and about 34,000 contributions on Wiki. He can also explain this DNA haplo group.
"Son of Richard Fitz Randolph 1705-1754 & Elizabeth Corlies 1716-1743. Rahway and Plainfield Monthly Meetings, born under last name Fitz Randolph, and later dropped the Fitz, carried name as Randolph. His brother Edward followed the same practice, and children using last name as Randolph. Some of his grandchildren (of son Stephen) reverted back to using sir name as Fitz Randolph."
I don't know if I have the rights to edit this profile, but John Randolph, Sr. 1743-1775 was my first cousin 8x removed. In my research of him, I found the following information. (I actually grew up about 5 miles [approx. 2.5 miles overland from the location of the present day "Randolph Farm.") Mattoax was the name of the plantation owned by John Randolph and the land is located in present day Chesterfield County, west of Ettrick Virginia. His grave site is located on the property with is called Randolph Farm today a part of the Agricultural Department of Virginia State University, a Historically Black University approximately two miles to the East south east. Here is the findagrave info link https://www.findagrave.com/memorial/58261202/john-randolph and I am attaching a link to an old news article about plantations in the southern Chesterfield area which includes information about Mattoax and John Randolph and family. https://www.newspapers.com/clip/6129630/plantations-around-petersburg/
The source added has nothing to do with this person in this profile. The son of Richard Randolph was born in 1742 and has a well documented history on Randolph-627 and married Frances Bland.

John Randolph Sr. (1742-1775) and Cherie (Randolph) Freeman are both descendants of Katherine (Banks) Isham (abt.1627-bef.1686).
Thanks!
Birth and Death dates need to be verified.
Parents, siblings, dates same.
Please correct LNAB and merge. Thanks!
