I was born in Bellflower, CA in 1963 to Paul Douglas Ratliff and Barbara Jean Johnson. We moved to southeastern Michigan while I was a toddler and have since lived in Ypsilanti, MI; LaConner, WA; Saline, MI; Canton, MI; Goodyear, AZ; Miesenbach, Germany; South Chesterfield, VA; and most recently Huntingdon, UK.
My military history includes 16 years with the US Naval Reserve, 6 years with the Michigan Army National Guard, and I'm a veteran of the Kuwait, Iraq, and Afghanistan wars.
I married Janette Marie Zdunczyk in 1993 and we have two sons.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.
If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.
Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

How are you? I'm Shirley, a WikiTree Mentor. Hope you're enjoying our site.
How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.
If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Do you have Royal Ancestors? Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.
And I'm here to help too, just ask!
