Sometimes links don't work in emails. If that's happened to you, check the public comments on your profile. The links will work from there.
I am pleased to confirm and welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.
I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.
I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site.
Happy tree climbing

I am very new at looking for my ancestors. I find it very interesting to find out things I wouldn't know about them had I not taken the DNA test. My results really took me by surprise in more ways than one. Finding out I am more German that I though I would be and discovering that my momma believed a man to be her father for 70 years. ( He died when she was 6 years old) Grammy took that one to her grave. We had momma take the test as well and are waiting for her results. I guess my question is where do I begin? I know there is so much information out there but many sites want you to spend a lot of money. I am hoping I can find my ancestors without spending a lot of money. I realize it will take a lot of time and hard work researching. I am willing to give it that. It is worth it to me! Thank you so much for your help!
