Félicité Richard was born about 1747 in Acadie. Her parents were Joseph Richard and Magdeleine LeBlanc.

Félicité Richard married Pierre Bélivo, son of Joseph Belivo and Marie Godet, on 14 January 1765 in the parish of Nativité-de-Notre-Dame de Bécancour, Province of Québec. Present at the marriage for the groom were: François Belivo, father; Charles Godet, uncle; Aman Bourque, cousin; Jean Cormierre, witness. Present for the bride were: Joseph Leprince, step-father; Joseph Leprince, friend; Rene Amable Durocher, witness. ^[1][2]

Félicité Richard, widow of the late Pierre Béliveau, passed away on 11 August 1823 being given the age of around 76 years on the record. Her burial was the 13th in the parish cemetery of Saint-Grégoire-le-Grand, Nicolet. Present at the burial were Antoine Talbot and Firmin Hébert. ^{[4] [5]}

Felicite Richard is mentioned as the mother of Jean Beliveau along with Joseph Beliveau as father in a baptismal record dated 6 Jun 1776, born 2 Apr 1776. This is incorrect, Rosalie Richard and Joseph Beliveau were the parents. Felicite Richard and Pierre Beliveau were the parents of Marguerite who was born and baptized 7 Jun 1776, the very next record in the parish register of Nativité-de-Notre-Dame de Bécancour.
