Thank you, Andrea. I've primarily done research through Ancestry.com, but have also accessed North Carolina's resources as well. I'm not sure how I came across your name, but I'm guessing it was when I was on a Rogers WikiTree before my computer crashed:/ I apologize if you are not familiar with my request to locate the Rogers that I'm descended from in NC in the mid-1700's! But I would welcome any help as I am at an impasse.

Hi Dustin,

Andie is not on duty right now, but I'm happy to help!

Did you have a profile on WikiTree previously? If you can let me know what the profile id is, we can get them merged for you! Your profile id can be found in the upper right-hand corner of this page and in the URL. For this profile it is Rogers-30400.

May I suggest that you take the request for help to the wider community on the Genealogist-to-Genealogist forum (G2G)? If the profile of your brick wall ancestor already exists you can click the "Ask Question" button right from their page and it will pre-load the question with the profile id. If they do not have a profile, I would suggest adding it, entering as much information (including sources), and then "Ask Question".

Let me know if you have any other questions!

Azure,

Thank you. Stupid question, but by "brick wall" do you mean just to add sources? I will work on filling in my sources for the line I'm having questions on. Thanks,

Dustin Rogers

Hi Dustin,

That's not a stupid question. A "brick wall" just refers to an ancestor you can't get past. You were talking about being at an impasse with your Rogers ancestor from NC in the mid-1700s.
