Biography

Catalina was a daughter of Ryer Jacobse Schermerhorn and Ariantje Arentse Bradt.^[1] Her birth and baptism are not recorded.

She was married to Johannes Wemple in the Reformed Dutch Church of Schenectady, New York, on 15 June 1701.^{[1] [2][3]}

She died in about 1708,^[1] before her husband remarried.

She is deceased when her father wrote his will and named her children: [[Ryert Schermerhorn will named wife Aryantie, daughter Juneke and Janeke, wife of Valkert Symonsen to have land in New Jersey, sons John, Job, Lucas and Arent, and deceased daughter Catalyntie and her heirs.
