DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Cindy or other carriers of her ancestors' mitochondrial DNA. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Cindy:

Hi Cindy

Thank you for signing the Honor Code it is appreciated.

Especially important is the need to provide official sources See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Help:Sources  for guidence

I notice that you have not added any green tags to your profile, tags do help you link into the community and to those who have an interest in the same surnames or countries.  You can have up to 20 tags, I would suggest you add your surname

ST_ONGE

Also, add your mother and grandmother's maiden surnames as tags and a country of origin

To add tags go to  your tags

You can find more information about tags here: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Tags.

Hope this helps you make the connections you are looking for

You might want to set your gender, this is done on the editing side of your profile   Janet ~ Wikitree Greeter

P.S If links do not work in an email from WikiTree click in the comment box in your profile

You are now a Family Member -- your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together! Start with the New Member How-To pages — they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around.

If you are new to genealogy -- no problem! Every genealogist is a beginner at some point and WikiTree is a collaborative site for people of all experience levels! Take your time, keep track of your sources, and ask questions. And take a look at these tips on recording your family history.

Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

If you have any questions about how WikiTree works, use the reply link below to let me know. I am happy to help! If I can't answer, I will help you find someone who can.

PS If you add your surname and other surnames/locations you are researching to your tags, you can connect to other members researching those names/places. The more of these clickable tags you add (20 max.) that include surnames, locations, periods of history or other genealogical interests, the more connections you will make and maybe find a few cousins! To add tags, use this link. This page will help you learn more about tags.
