Minnie Stevens was named Florence Stewart Stevens when she was born 4 Oct 1880 in Middlesex, Ontario, Canada ^[1] She lived with her family in London, Ontario. ^{[2] [3] [4]}

John Frederick Grant and Minnie Stevens were married 4 Mar 1911 in London, Middlesex, Ontario, Canada. ^[5] They lived in London, Ontario. ^[6] They were able to travel. In 1919, they went to Jamaica, returning via New York aboard the Zacapa bound for their home in London. ^[7] In 1924 they had gone to England and returned aboard the Montroyal arriving in Quebec City en route home. ^[8] Florence was still living when John died in 1939. She died in 1976 and was buried in Woodland Cemetery in London, Middlesex, Ontario. ^[9]
