P.S. Please take your time and finish one profile - adding locations (including countries), dates, and at least one real source - before moving to the next profile. And if you need help finding reliable information for your family members? The easiest way to find info and sources is to use the handy RootsSearch link on the right side of any profile. Use your WikiTree login to access over 20 websites. Once you find a correct source, copy and paste the citation info and add it to the profile. Learn more about sources here.
I saw the Dutch name and stopped to say, "Hi." I don't know how much experience you have researching, so forgive me if you already know this.
Be careful when researching Vande Kamp. My grandmother was a Van Schoonhoven. I have found relations on WikiTree and in FamilySearch.org under Van Schoonhoven, van Schoonhoven, vanSchoonhoven, VanSchoonhoven, Schoonhoven, and even Van all by itself. Yes, even the space between Van and Schoonhoven would give me a negative search result at times.
Have fun on WikiTree,

Lori Sorry I haven't written sooner! I retired last year thinking I'd have so much time to work on my genealogy and that hasn't happened yet! LOL!
Congratulations on becoming a Family Member of WikiTree! How excellent! I'm a volunteer greeter, here to answer any questions you may have about WikiTree.
Our New Member How-To pages can help you get started adding profiles or just learning your way around.
Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.
You mentioned that you don’t know much about your family tree yet. I assume you are new to genealogy. No problem! Every genealogist is a beginner at some point. Take your time, keep track of sources, and ask questions. Check here for tips.
Welcome to the community! I hope your WikiTree journey will be as fruitful and enjoyable as mine has been.
