Hi Dana,

I match you 16.5 cM and MRCA is 4.9 generations back, which probably means Carlisle. i also share a tempest ancestor with you on my fathers side, but that is further back. I also have matched Wayne and Loretta. I match Loretta on my dad's side too, and well as sharing Carlisle with her on my mom's side.

Hi Dana. We match on GEDmatch on chromosomes 1, 6, 8, and 14 for a total of 18.3 cMs with 6 and 14 appearing to be the most relevant. On chromosome 6, we have base pairs that fully match. Chromosome 14 contains the largest of our shared segments, 5.8 cMs.

I've looked at your ancestors here and see no surnames that occur among my known ancestors. However, I see on the profile for Elizabeth Carlisle of County Tyrone that you likely share DNA with Elizabeth. My 6th-gr-grandmother Anne Carlile was born ca. 1709 and, after her marriage, lived in County Monaghan, less than two miles from County Tyrone.

Finally, GEDmatch predicts that our most recent common ancestor was 7.6 generations ago. Anne is 8 generations prior to me.

Dana, we match on GEDmatch at 14.3cM. Your James Forrester Warnock is my Elizabeth Warnocks brother. We are 4th Cousins. I only live a few miles from where they lived. Please get in contact with me.

Hi Dana,

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified! Now it's time to pick a project that best fits the pre-1700 profiles you'll be working on.

Is there a particular time period, location, or topic you're interested in? Do you have some historically-significant ancestors? Look at the list of active projects to see if one fits your needs.

Once you find a project that interests you, visit their project page for more information and to find out how to join. You can also use the Special Following page link to add the project tag to your profile, and you'll be kept up to date on any activity that occurs for that project.

Can't find what you're looking for? Let me know, and I can make some suggestions! :-)
