If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.
Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having.
How To Use WikiTree is a good starting point, and the Help Index is an important place to find out how to do most tasks.
Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.
Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.
Hello Rufus, You are now a member of the WikiTree Community - We are building One Collaborative Tree, with just one profile per person, so it is important to ensure no duplicates are entered as you add Profiles to WikiTree.
If you have pre-1700's ancestors to add, please read our Pre-1700 profiles info. Please, be sure to include a list of the sources used, on each profile you add.
If you need any help getting started check out the Help Index or the G2G forum - Good luck growing your branches, Patt
Welcome to WikiTree! We are a group of volunteers working to grow a FREE worldwide family tree with ONE collaborative profile per person.
To get started, you will want to read our Honor Code. It is a very important part of why our community is such a friendly place to grow your family tree.
If you have questions or need help, you can visit the G2G forum.
Youll also find some very useful information on the help menu on the top right of the screen, and there is even more to explore on the Family Tree & Tools tab at the top of your profile!
If you want to add your family, just click the volunteer button and leave a comment about your genealogical interests.
I noticed that you've created a profile in the name of one of your ancestors. On Wikitree, we each create a profile in our own name, and then we add our ancestors with their own profiles.
I'm going to post some additional information for you to read in order to become familiar with Wikitree, and then once you've changed this profile to reflect your own name, you can post another quick message to let us know you're ready to get started.
At that time, one of our greeters will be happy to confirm your membership!
