Please be careful on this Woodcock tree. One problem that I have is I cannot or have not figured out how to change information that is already presented here. Abraham Woodcock (b. 1822) is not the only child of John Woodcock & Hester Ann "Hetty" Clark. But I cannot enter the information I have.

I have looked at all the Woodcock land petitions at the Archives of Canada in Ottawa. So I know which of the second generation children belongs to the proper Woodcock parents. The other thing to watch out for is some of Connie Bailey's information. Some of it is not correct ( a lot of it is correct too ) so be very leery of merges as you move down the tree. Cheers!

Woodcock-364 and Woodcock-1082 are not ready to be merged because: John woodcock that married Hester "Hetty Ann" Henrietta Clark had only one child as far as I know. I believe it was Daniel listed on Wooodcock-1082. No offense to Connie Bailey's work on this family mostly from the 1970's, but I have found a large number of conflicting matches. There were 5 different Woodcock males who came to Upper Canada after the Revolutionary war. Many used the same names for children so it gets very confusing. Only two of the five were U.E.L.S -- Abraham who married Katherine Peterson (who was herself a D.U.E.) and John Woodcock who married Annetje Caryl (Carryl, Carl, Carrol).
