- Carl Schulze Scheepers is die tweede seun van Willem Scheepers en Bettie Schulze . Sy ouer broer was oorle Willem Francois "Frans" Scheepers en Jonger suster is Nerina Machteld (Scheepers) Bosch . Callie was gebore op maandag die 22ste September 1952, in die Marifont Hospitaal te Pretoria en gerigistreer as Carl Schulze Scheepers . Gedoop op Sondag die 14de Desember 1952 in die NG Kerk Suid-Oos Pretoria, langs Loftus met die naam Karel Schulze Scheepers .
- Callie se skool loopbaan het in 1957 begin in die Anton van Wou laerskool(Gr1 - Std3) , Sheepmoor Laerskool(Std4 en 5) , Landbou Hoërskool Brits(Std 6 - 8) , Afrikaans Seuns Hoërskool(Std 8) , Menlo Parkse Hoërskool(Std 9 en 10) in 1970 .
- Hierna het Skutter Callie sy militêre opleiding in 1971 in 3 SAI te Potchefstroom gedoen as Bataljon seiner. Hy het nog 5 x 3 weke opleidings kampe op die Transvaal/Rhodesia grens en 4 x 3 maande operasionele kampe op die Suid-Wes Afrika/Angola grens gedoen van 1973 tot 1984 . In die tyd het hy ook 'n Pro-Patria Medalje ontvang vir langer as 4 maande operasionele diens verrig .
- Sy naskoolse kwalifikasies is 'n Algemene Bestuurs Diploma aan Lyceum College en Vleisinspekteur Sertifikaat aan die Pretoria Tegniese College .
- Callie het 'n wye reeks beroepe beoefen, beginnende as 'n Leerling Myn Amptenaar by East-Rand Consolidated Mines(Goud) 9 maande ondergrond, toe as 'n klerk by Irene Vee en Suiwelkunde Landbou Tegniese Dienste, - Vleisinspekteur by Pretoriase Slagpale, - Magasynmeester en Boekbinder by Merenskie Biblioteek van Pretoria Universiteit (Tukkies), - Produksie lyn opsigter en later Produksie bestuurder by Grinacker Electronics, - Produksie Beplanner, later Prod. - My huidige belangstellings en stokperdjies is in Botanie en Familiebome soos hierdie, bly maar 'n plant mens en dan in Gekiedenis en veral in ons sin en wat van die Boerevolk gaan word. Ek glo dat daar 'n wesintlike verskil tusen die liberale Afikaner en die Boer is .
- Op 29 Mei 2021 word my linker onderbeen geamputeer, 70mm onder die knie . Dit het gebeur agv. swak bloedsomloop wat veroorsaak is deur die diabetes en aangehelp word met my gerookery . Die wond herstel baie stadig deur inflamasie wat gedurig dreig om septies te word . Ek val so 2 maal en moet elke keer weer teater toe vir herstel werk . November kom ons agter dat ek alergies is vir die pleisters, silikoon, latex, rekverbande en knelverbande, wat die inflamasie en swelling veroorsaak en die wond keer om toe te groei . Die wond herstel nou vinnig en begin Desember hoef ons nie meer die wondsuster 2 en 3 maal per week te besoek nie .
- Verder is ek 'n ywerige Bybel student, maar glo aan geen kerk nie , hulle almal het te vêr van die Skrif afgedwaal veral met die drie-eenheid en aanbidding van Jesus, wat nêrens in die Skrif voorkom wat lynreg teen die Skrif indruis .
Callie is getroud met Adriaantje de Velde Harsenhorst op 21 Desember 1974 . In die NG Kerk Stellastraat voor Dominie Johan Steyn . Hy en Adri is die ouers van 3 pragtige mense Vicky Bettie Tienie (Scheepers) Potgieter - Karlien Elisabeth (Scheepers) Coetzee en Carl Zwier Scheepers met Jenny (Döring) Scheepers . For a great start of the spring this year we will have a Spring Clean-a-Thon again. The fun starts Friday, April 23, at 8 AM (EDT) until Monday, April 26, at 8 AM (EDT) make sure to register for this event (hurry ;) (and respond with an ANSWER not a comment or reply) and of course also mention in the answer you are joining the Flying Dutchmen- Vliegende Hollanders team !
Since I put my number on my profile a number of family and friends have contacted me, because they have found my number here, also a number of people looking for their family had found someone on Wiki on my watchlist . I could convince 2 such persons to jump into Wiki while talking to them, because normaly when people phone me they are on line, on my profile and I can instruct them exactly what to do, what a pleasure ! One of them later gave me a 'Wonderful' badge . There are also 5 other (3 family and 2 others) which I now know only through Wiki) that I telephonically could convince to join Wiki . A few Wikitreers Phoned me and I could help them on things like how to get sources, how to take pictures of pictures and enhance them and put it on their profiles, and such things . People who are computer literate seem not to understand that other people are struggling and find Wiki and other Tree sites very complicated, especially if the instructions are a bit technical and in a different language than their own .
I would please like to keep my phone number here, if it is not a risk to Wiki
