I adopted this profile and Estimated a birth date. I can find no further information for him and would like to remove him from my watchlist. If there is anyone who would be interested in helping with this profile just let me know. The profile is Richard Yorke Dyer 1961 - (Dyer-5826)

I found a solution to the problem of not being able to orphan profiles of people who are or could be living.  I'm not sure it is acceptable here at WikiTree, but posted about it and heard no objections, so I am starting to do it.  I'm very open to undoing it if somebody slaps me on the wrist and says it's wrong to subvert the rule.

If you add a death date of 2099 (uncertain, of course) then you'll be able to put it up for adoption.

I know of several ways to remove myself. This is one of the people in a distantly related line of mine and I am just hoping that someone would be interested in following it.

I wouldn't do that.  It fools the software but it doesn't change the reality if someone that is living wanted to complain that you are exposing them on the internet against their wish.  It's even worse than just leaving off the date of birth because it basically demonstrates a disregard for law if it ever went that far.  Remember, he with the most money to spend on lawyers, will win most arguments, and if there were to be a problem, it would be your problem and not a Wikitree problem, you have agreed to the Honor Code which is a sort of a handing over to you the responsibility to not do stuff like that, at your own peril may I add.  For your own sake, don't do that!
