Advice before editing this pre-1700 Ryall profile?

I would like to rewrite profile of Joseph Ryall. This is what I am proposing:

Joseph was baptised at Warminster on 3 March 1698 (old style). He was the son of John Ryall <ref> "England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J7DX-V2R : 19 March 2020), Joseph Ryall, 1698. </ref> <ref> Warminster: St Denys with St Lawrence Parish Registers 1682-1759 Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre; Chippenham, Wiltshire, England; Wiltshire Church of England Parish Registers; Reference Number: 2144/3 image accessed from Ancestry.com Wiltshire, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1538-1812 </ref> His mother's name is believed to be Martha but no source has been found.

Joseph Royal was a wooltryer residing at Kilmington, Somerset when he married Ann Sutton at Horningsham, Wiltshire on 25 December 1727. <ref> "England Marriages, 1538–1973 ", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NKQL-DTB : 12 March 2020), Joseph Royal, 1727. </ref> <ref> Horningsham Parish Registers 1694-1739

Wiltshire and Swindon History Centre; Chippenham, Wiltshire, England; Wiltshire Church of England Parish Registers; Reference Number: 482/3 image accessed from Ancestry.com Wiltshire, England, Church of England Baptisms, Marriages and Burials, 1538-1812 </ref> A licence for the marriage had been obtained on 23 December 1727 <ref> [ http://trees.ancestry.com.au/tree/45637173/person/6392113900 Family tree "BUTLER/WOOTTEN FAMILY TREE" created by "cwbutler147" ]</ref> There were five or six children from the marriage:

#Martha Royal – Horningsham 1728 <ref> "England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:N69S-KYT : 19 March 2020), Joseph Royal in entry for Martha Royal, 1728. </ref>

#John Royal – Horninsham 1730 <ref> "England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J9FS-198 : 19 March 2020), Joseph Royal in entry for John Royal, 1730. </ref>

#[[Ryall-32|Anne (Royal) Butler]] – Horningsham 1732

#Joseph Royal – Horsingham 1736 No evidence found

#Robert Royall – Horsingham 1739 <ref> "England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:NBG1-PP5 : 19 March 2020), Robert Royall, 1739. </ref>

#Sarah Royall – Horningsham 1739 <ref>"England Births and Christenings, 1538-1975", database, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:J9F3-HY1 : 19 March 2020), Sarah Royall, 1739.</ref>

Joseph Ryall was buried at Horninghsam, Wiltshire on 6 March 1753 <ref> FindMyPast.com Wiltshire burials index 1538-1990 </ref>

Any suggestions on style etc most welcome.

Finally Should I change the LNAB to Royal?

Mike

Should I contact one of the pre-1700 projects or know about any style guidelines before proceeding? Thank you!

That's certainly an improvement!

I would suggest you drop in some paragraph breaks to provide white space.  The old style date can be written 1698/9.

"His mother is believed (by whom? source?)"

The link to the ancestry tree doesn't seem to work. Can you extract the marriage license and just link to that, or post a sharing image?  You might put the tree in a "see also" section, as Ancestry Trees aren't considered a reliable source for these dates.

I would hold off on changing the LNAB until you can locate the original register of his birth and check the spelling there.

The baptism record definitely says Ryall, so if that is the correct baptism record then the LNAB should not be changed. Free-to-view image at https://www.ancestry.co.uk/sharing/22016838?h=b062df.
