Post-merge email notification doesn't offer option to thank the merger

I love being notified that merges have been completed.  It's one of the most important things a member can do and I want to be able to click on something to send them a thank you.  For some reason the notification email doesn't offer this!

Steve,

I believe we have to be logged-on to WikiTree, and on our “Navigation Home Page” to send a thank you from within the “Wiki Genealogy Feed” panel on the navigation page. If that panel is not visible on your “Navigation Home Page”, perhaps you need to change your preferences to enable it to display.

Thanks.  I'm logged in but there's no "Wiki Genealogy Feed" panel.  Just the Family Activity.Feed.   But in any case my point is simple.  I receive emails all the time regarding edits that people have made to various profiles and those emails include a link to thank the person who made the change.  I receive no such link in emails relating to merges that have been completed.
Steve,

The last line on the bottom on the right column of your "Navigation Home Page" is a link to customize the appearance of that page. At the bottom of the customization page are the settings for four feeds that can be displayed on the Home page. If any of those are "Off", you won't see that feed. If you want to see them you can set the number of days to display.
Yes, I know.   But my previous comment still remains.  I get emails that offer links to thank someone.  The emails I get regarding merges do not contain those links.  Are you saying that the merge emails will contain a thank you link if I enable a certain feed?
