Have you registered for the 2021 Connect-a-Thon yet? [closed]

Question

The third annual Connect-a-Thon is coming up soon! The goal of our marathon event: decrease the number of profiles that are not connected to our big tree by adding relatives to existing profiles [more participation info].

The event will start on Friday, July 23, at 8 AM (EDT) and run until Monday, July 26, at 8 AM (EDT).

Will you join us?

To register, just click the ANSWER button and say "Sign me up!" or whatever and include a few words about your location and/or genealogical interests. This will help us assign you to a team. If you already know what team you'd like to be on, say that. The current teams are listed here.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 21 July 2021 at midnight EDT, is the last day to register to have your contributions counted for a team and be eligible for the t-shirt drawings. Please join us!

Just curious. Did we actually start at 7:00 a.m. Eastern rather than 8:00? Still a quarter till 8:00 and there are already almost 1,450 points on the scoreboard.

Hello, I would like to join "Mid-Atlantic" team. My Great Grandfathers name  James (John) Jackson Bunting. He lived in Butler County, PA. Born 09/__/1823 in ______ Pennsylvania. Died 04/26/1901 Butler PA. Married Mary A. Wise, 1847 Jefferson Co.,PA. Looking for where he was born, and who his parents were. I believe he had two brothers, Isaac, 1826 Chester Co, PA--11/03/1878 St.  Louis, Mis. and Eli 02/07in /1825 PA.--12/23/1915 ST. Louis, Mis. and possibly a third brother Samuel. His parents may be James Henry Bunting and Elizabeth Bailey. He may have been born in Chester Co. PA. He was a farmer.
