I don't read or understand the language AND the record is in poor condition!

I don't know Latin, and usually I can only grab little bits and pieces, so here's a start...

  • Bartholomew Caserta
    • Father: Joannis (Caserta)
    • Mother: Francisca Cafarella/Casarella
  • Nunzia Paino
    • Father: Joannis (Paino)
    • Mother: Rosa Gennaro/?

Agree...leaning towards Ca'f'arella as the 's' appears to be written as an 's' elsewhere in the document.....

date on the bottom of page appears to be November 4th 1753.

9bris=9bre  = novem (in Latin, cardinal number 9) + br = November (in its expanded form and being the 9th month counted from and including March)

Don't know if the previous dates (7 8bris/October through the 15th were the banns) and the 15th of 1749 was the marriage date?

Marriage between Bartolomeo Caserta son of Giovanni and of Francesca Cafarella; and Nunzia Paino daughter of Giovanni and of Rosa Gennaro

Banns read 7 Oct, 14 Oct, 15 Oct (although that last date seems wrong since it says it was the 19th Sunday after Pentecost, which would have been 21 Oct in 1753.
