Does changing diatric marks on my ancestors birth names give my ancestors new Wiki identification numbers, as I read?

I originally entered my Polish ancestor's biographical information only in English.  I would like to go back and use the diatrics where needed.  I read that this would give my ancestors all new identification numbers.  Therefore, I need to know if diatric changes in original names will cause an issue within the Wiki formatting.  Is there a "best" way to accomplish my goal?

Hello Denise.

Instead of changing the LNAB, you could use the "Other last name(s)" field without any issues.
