Why did some death info disappear when I edited the profile?

I was working on Henry Clark (Clark-25089)'s bio, adding a source to his birth info, when suddenly the death subheading and one death event (": Death:  Paid property tax in 1898 in Totten, Lonoke, Arkansas.
:: Date:  AFT 1898
:: Place:  Lonoke County, Arkansas, USA<ref>Source: [[#S895]]  Page:  Clark, Henry</ref>") disappeared from the preview. They are also gone from the profile view, although they are visible in the edit view. I didn't want to revert to the previous state since I hadn't made a mistake...What happened? Do I need to revert anyway?

You had a <ref> instead of a </ref>, that's all.  These things are very picky about typos.  Looks OK now.
