Our goal for the Spring Clean-a-Thon is to clear out as many database suggestions as possible. To make it fun we're having teams and competing to see who can clear out the most.

It will be going for 72 hours straight, April 21-23. We're including Monday so that those who are busy on the weekend can still participate.

Just a reminder, Nor'Easters Concentrates on New England and the Canadian Maritimes, but we aren't restricted to it. Look over the current teams but keep us in mind. ;)

oops wrong spot, sorry
Yes I like to participate, with the Flying Dutchman.
I want to join the Canadian Cleanup Crew

If any team wants a custom tab for clean-a-thon, let me know. Nor'Easters will. Super Sweepers does. Bear in mind separate tabs but shared chat. I need email addresses for people to use the chat.

Hit me up at Tibbetts-150

Hi Eowyn, can we please have a timezone calculator on the Clean-A-Thon page? Last year I was unsure when I needed to start and finish (I think I ended up starting several hours too early)... maybe there was a timezone calculator last year, and I missed it! Actually, I see there is a link to a timezone map - thanks for that. If there is something really basic to follow for start and finish times for the major time zones, that would be wonderful.
Done!
Glenda, please be sure you reply as an answer so we can get your properly registered. Thanks!
Hi Glenda,

you have to post an "answer" not a "comment" so Eowyn can see your message and register you.
Sign me up with the Southern Super Sweepers
You have to go to the CURRENT one and ANSWER ( not comment) with the team you want
Geweldig Herman! :D

I love a parade, and a little competition ... and a Clean-a-Thon.  I'll be showing some love the Gill surname.
by Jo Gill G2G6 Pilot (167k points)
I’m glad your joining in on the fun Jo. I wish you were going to give your Thompson or Bender surnames some love this go since they are Midwest. Lol =D
Great, Jo! You've got the badge now.

You're certainly welcome to join Team 811 if you haven't picked a team. We only focus on DBS 811, which is cleaning uncleaned merged profiles. Our team page is: https://www.wikitree.com/index.php?title=Space:Team_811_(cleaning_uncleaned_merged_profiles)

Amanda - is it team Midwest?
oh I see. I get you to sign up and you ditch me? I'm making a list. Once I check it twice we will see. :P
Man, it's toooo cold in Maine.  That's why it rhymes with Pain.  I'm chasing granma Nell Thompson.  She took her 2 boys to their father in Canada and left for Montana.  5 spouses, 3 soc.sec. #s.
Yay. She signed with us anyway. Back off all the rest of you. She has a home now. :P hee hee.
No need to taunt the rest of us! LOL Can't fault a girl for trying. We're not one of the popular teams....
Bad time for me to just find the email saying you commented. I’ll still answer anyway, yes we are a Midwest team. That’s why I thought you would be a good fit = )
what's your team name - I don't find 'Midwest' on the team list.
We are the Tidying Tornadoes =D We work with the Midwest states
Of course, where else would you find a tornado.  I have a sister in Louisiana where they have lots of them.  She got 'Rita' in Lake Charles.  No electricity for a month.
Yikes! I live in Wisconsin and have seen quiet a few in my lifetime around me. The worst that was close was before I could remember took place in ‘96 in Oakfield. The whole town was destroyed and it still is one of the worst tornadoes in Wisconsin history.
