Thank you, I do have these two records on my ancestry account. I have Newtons father as Horace but cant find any records of his parents. The Horace White I'm looking for is: HORACE NEWTON WHITE b. 1814 Niagra, NY d. 26 Dec 1888 Marshall, Calhoun, MI.  Right now I have his father as Charles White and mother as Ruth Perry b 18 april 1887 Rhode Island  d 17 april 1870 North Stonington Connecticut , but the only place I see that she is his mother is on find a grave. One of the census I have says his mother was born in England.
I read where you were looking for Horace Newton White's family but as I was reading you last comment, you said his mother was Ruth Perry b. 1887 and died 1870,  Well that can't be.  You can't die and then be born.  Do you mean 1970?   Did you ever connect her in a census with Charles White? I noticed he didn't have a birth listed but maybe you have it?  I am sure there are lots of Charles White's in New York.  If I can get a date of birth on him or a place on where he was born, maybe I can locate him. At least I can try. Nancy
oops,

Ruth Perry b. 18 April 1786  Rhode Island d. 17 April 1870 North Stonington, Connecticut.

Charles White b. 1790 Hopkinton, Rhode Island d. 6 Dec 1869 North Stonington, Connecticut

I have no records of any kind showing them living anywhere but those two places. Everyone on ancestry has those two as Horace Newton Whites parents, but like I said, find a grave is the only place I have seen that. Plus Horace was born in Niagara, NY I think and died in Michigan.

Charles and Ruth were for sure married, I just cant prove Horace to be their child and I have know Idea who his parents were, which is what I am trying to figure out for sure. And if that census is right and his mother was born in England then Ruth for sure isnt his mother.

Thank you for your help

I cant either. Nothing. I looked at every census for that county, of course there are  several Whites but those census don't tell much. Only name on them is head of house. Thanks for the help!
