G2G: Not seeing my DNA to her, just up to Ruth - Mayflower Descendants

https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/White-2354  I see my DNA now showing on ancestor pages.  Tracing back, it only goes to daughter Ruth and not the parents on wikitree.  Can someone assist?  I'm new to DNA, not quite sure how to ensure I'm connected to my ancestors and cousins that also have their DNA showing.

The autosomal DNA test which you probably took only goes back 5 or 6 generations.  That is probably why it only goes back to the daughter and no further.

As Ros indicated, there is a limit to how far auDNA propagates to DNA relatives: 8 steps, so out to 6g grandparents, but not 7g grandparents. Per the Relationship Finder, Sarah is the 7th great grandmother of T.C. Justine. See the DNA Test Connections Help Page for more details.

Having your test information on a profile does not prove you are descended from that person.  It only means that your ancestral line currently shown on WikiTree connects you to her.  You need to analyze your DNA matches to see if they support that conclusion.

If you do feel confident that your matches show you are descended from Ruth, then you can refer to documentation showing that Ruth is indeed the daughter of Sarah.  It looks like there is documentation on the profile now, but I would caution you that Brown is a very common name, as I know all too well from my own ancestry, so you need to study it carefully.
