Would anyone be interested in joining A Czech Project?
The objective of the Czech Project would be to use the collaborative powers of WikiTree to collect, organize, and trace the information of Czech families into one location.
To trace families alive today in the US back to regions in Bohemia & Moravia where they originated.
Define Standards for names and correct languages to use. Our numbers of Czech profiles are growing & would be nice to get them organized into a group now.
If you are interested please let me know. If you have other ideas to add to the project I'd love to hear them.

Yes, the netherland portal is very nice. Unfortunately, there aren't enough Czech speakers to support it. Maybe in the future. Good thing here is a lot of Czech's speak a good amount of English (or can read it and understand for the most part)
Sharon It's not that we aren't interested in Slovaks. I set the project up to include present day Czech Republic. The records are seperated by present day countries. I figured lumping the two together would cause too much confusion.
I do know there's been some talk about adding Slovakia as a project.
